60 years ago today, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in major league baseball. Although he had to endure all sorts of taunts, heckles, and various other manifestations of racism, this action did a lot to begin the civil rights movement. I just wanted to mention this so that everybody could take a minute to reflect on this moment in history.
