The College Democrats of America Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Caucus works to engage LGBT students in the Democratic Party. Caucus leaders coordinate efforts with the DNC’s LGBT Leadership Council to help foster the Democratic Party’s culture of openness and acceptance.
The LGBT Caucus has worked to create positive change by organizing a campaign against an anti-marriage equality initiative, raising money to help train LGBT students to become the next generation activists for fairness, and reaching out to LGBT students and encouraging them to be active in their campuses and communities.
