Auburn University
Beth is from Birmingham, Ala., and she moved to Auburn in 2008 to attend Auburn University. She is now a senior, graduating this December, with a Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations. During her time at Auburn, she has become very involved with the College Democrats, working with a friend to revitalize the Auburn’s College Democrats chapter in 2009 and recruiting more than 30 members since. She was also integral in reestablishing the Alabama College Democrats and is in her second term as president of that organization. In August 2011, she was appointed the Southeast Regional Director for College Democrats of America, which allowed her to work directly with seven states and Puerto Rico. At CDA’s Summer Convention in Washington DC in 2011, she was named one of CDA’s “Rising Stars.” She is currently interning in the political department for Democracy for America. After graduation, she plan to attend law school and continue her work with CDA and the Alabama Democratic Party.
