A native of Brownsburg, Indiana, Alli currently resides in West Lafayette, Indiana where she is a senior at Purdue University majoring in History.

Alli got involved with College Democrats her sophomore year and became inspired to get even more involved with both College Democrats and local politics after she attended CDA’s national convention in August of 2012. At this convention, Alli witnessed firsthand the power and energy of college students from across the country. She returned home motived to activate college students and re-elect President Obama. Alli was elected to serve as the Vice President of the Purdue College Democrats for the fall semester of 2012 during which time she played a major role in campus organization and voter registration. The 2012 election gave her a great enthusiasm for voters’ rights as she observed the challenges students and minorities face with regards to voting. In April of 2013 she was elected to and is currently serving as the Vice President of the College Democrats of Indiana.

In addition to her work in College Democrats Alli, has interned for several elected officials and political organizations including the Indiana Democratic Party, Indiana State Senator Jim Arnold, and U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly.

Throughout college, Alli has been a member of Purdue University’s Color Guard, Best Buddies, and College Mentors for Kids. She enjoys running, reading political memoirs, and drinking lots and lots of coffee.
