CDM: Registration Rumble

The College Democrats of Massachusetts teamed up again this year with their State Party and the Massachusetts Democratic Party Youth Services Committee to organize Registration Rumble, a statewide voter registration competition. CDM’s Reg Rumble Competition offers six grant prizes as well as a pizza party with an elected official to the chapters that either register the most students to vote on their campuses or log the most volunteer hours for Democratic candidates in the municipal elections. Last year, the winning chapters attended a pizza party with Governor Patrick and other elected officials. TCD Launches “Perry Watch”

The Texas College Democrats are hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year and continuing to be a strong Democratic voice in a conservative state. Last week they announced their 3rd annual Fall Conference and the launch of “Perry Watch”.

In a state with large geographic and demographic diversity, a fall conference provides Texas College Democrats the opportunity to discuss common goals, hear dynamic speakers and trainers, and the conference gives TCD a fantastic fundraising opportunity. This event is a great benefit to the host chapter because of the resources and recognition brought to the campus. 2011/2012 CDA National Appointments Announced

On behalf of the College Democrats of America Executive Board, I am proud to welcome our newly appointed communications team, historian, policy council, finance team, regional directors and caucus leaders. Congratulations to our new team!

CDA's appointed officers serve in a variety of critical roles, and their efforts make the College Democrats’ success possible. This year’s pool of applicants was twice the size of last year’s, and I never cease to be impressed by the talent and diversity represented by our CDA members.
