CDA Executive Board
Calvin Wilborn is a senior at Auburn University majoring in public administration. Prior to being elected president, Calvin served as vice president of the College Democrats of America, president of the Alabama College Democrats, director of governmental affairs for the Auburn University Student Government Association, and president of the Auburn University College Democrats chapter. Calvin is passionate about voting rights, health care, and southern food.
University of Chicago
Victoria Koffsky is a fourth year at the University of Chicago, where she studies public policy with a health policy concentration. At the state level, Victoria serves as the Vice President of College Democrats of Illinois. Originally from New York, Victoria first discovered her passion for politics when she became inspired by then-Senator Hillary Clinton. Since then, Victoria’s enthusiasm for Democratic politics has grown, and she has dedicated herself to raising awareness of and support for progressive issues and getting Democrats elected. Outside of politics, Victoria is involved with Jewish life on campus and currently interns at Year Up Chicago.
Victoria is a Democrat because she knows and appreciates how important progressive policies are to every facet of our lives. Whether it is inclusive social policies or paths to citizenship for immigrants, Democrats consistently do what is morally right and socially responsible.

University of Chicago
Ridge Knapp is a third-year student at the University of Chicago studying public policy and religious studies. At the state and local level, he serves as the president of the College Democrats chapter at U of C and as political director for the College Democrats of Illinois. Ridge has been involved with campaigns at every level since he first became politically involved in high school: from state legislative races in his hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut, to county board, congressional, and gubernatorial races in his collegiate home of Illinois. Outside of politics, you can find him on the south branch of the Chicago River with the University of Chicago’s rowing team.

Robert is a rising senior at Albion College majoring in political science with a minor in history and a concentration in public policy. He previously served as president of the Albion College Student Senate and treasurer of the Michigan Federation of College Democrats, and he currently serves as president of MFCD. Robert is also a member of the Albion College Men’s Tennis team and the current vice president of the Albion College Student Senate. Robert got his start in politics volunteering for his local county water resource commissioner, and since then, he has worked for a number of candidates at the state and federal levels. Motivated by his commitment to improving public education and combating climate change, Robert knows that the Democratic party’s ideas on these issues are the best ways to help people. In his spare time, Robert enjoys traveling, nature walks, and exploring new cultures.

Ethan is a junior at Missouri S&T majoring in history and minoring in pre-law and political science. He is the president of the College Democrats of Missouri and his local chapter. His first campaign was with Chris Koster in 2016, but he’s been involved in politics since high school through debate and student government. He has continued his involvement working with local candidates in central Missouri and his county party. Ethan enjoys traveling the U.S. in his spare time and visiting national parks whenever he gets the opportunity.

University of Alabama
Michael Smith is from Palatine, Illinois and is a rising senior at the University of Alabama. He currently serves as president of the Alabama College Democrats. Previously, he served as development director in 2017 and political director during the 2016 cycle. Additionally, he serves as his chapter’s vice president. Michael is a mainstay of congressional campaigns in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, working on at least one congressional race each cycle since 2012. Most recently, he interned for Sean Casten’s campaign for Congress, served as the associate finance director on the Raja for Congress campaign in 2016, and worked on Doug Jones’s Senate campaign in his adopted state of Alabama. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Michael is a huge fan of Frank Ocean and particularly his recent album “blonde.”

Florida Southern College
Mikaela Guido is a third-year political science and psychology student at Florida Southern College. In the state of Florida, she currently serves as vice president of the Florida College Democrats, and president of the Florida Southern College Democrats. In her role as vice president of the Florida College Democrats she has drafted diversity initiatives and cultural sensitivity trainings in order to promote diversity and inclusion amongst membership. On campus, she coordinates weekly programming for the College Democrats chapter, including bipartisan discussion and debate events, voter registration tabling, and service projects. She also works as a group exercise instructor, orientation leader, and as an intern for Downtown Lakeland.

Jacksonville State University
Kyteria Marshall is a senior at Jacksonville State University majoring in criminal justice and sociology with a concentration in corrections. At the state and local level, she serves as vice president of the Alabama College Democrats and public relations director for the Jacksonville State University’s College Democrats. Kyteria is currently working on the Jim Williams campaign. She also worked on the Doug Jones campaign in 2017. With the midterm elections coming up, Kyteria is working hard to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot.

Drew Kromer is a senior at Davidson College, where he studies political science. Before becoming national council vice chair, Drew served as the vice president of the NC College Democrats, as CDA’s southeast regional director, and on the national board as national council secretary. Outside of College Democrats, Drew also chairs his local town’s precinct party, is vice chair of his county’s Young Democrats chapter, and as a member of the NC Democratic Party’s State Executive Committee. When he’s not working on politics or studying, Drew can be found playing games with his friends or watching late night shows like Stephen Colbert’s.

Sophia O’Neal is a junior at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon majoring in politics and government with a minor in gender and sexuality studies. In addition to her role with the National Council, Sophia is president of her campus chapter and political director of the College Democrats of Oregon. Through her work with College Democrats and Pacific’s Center for Gender Equity, Sophia has helped organize dozens of events annually on her campus that highlight issues of inequality of gender, sexuality, race, and culture. Sophia also has an ever-growing feminist button collection, and her favorite music artist is Harry Styles.
