A senior at the University of Arizona, Joseline Mata is studying political science and communications. Joseline cut her teeth in politics during the 2012 election season when she worked as a field intern for Congressman Ron Barber, which she followed up by serving a one-year internship with the Pima County Democratic Party. In 2014 she had two roles: working as part of the finance team for Congressman Barber’s re-election campaign & as deputy GOTV director for the Pima County Democratic Party. 2016 was spent working for Arizona List & the Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee to help take the AZ House & Senate. Joseline currently holds the titles of Vice Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party, President Emeritus of UofA Democrats, Young & College Democrats of Arizona.
Calvin Wilborn is a senior at Auburn University majoring in public administration. Prior to being elected vice president, Calvin served as president of the Alabama College Democrats, director of governmental affairs for Auburn University Student Government Association, and as president of the Auburn University College Democrats chapter. Calvin is passionate about voters’ rights, healthcare and southern food.

Sophia Ward is a junior at the University of North Florida dual majoring in political science and communications with a concentration in public relations. Sophia’s experience in 2016 as a fellow for the Clinton Campaign led her to reestablish the UNF College Democrats chapter, where she currently serves as president. Sophia also serves with the dedicated leadership of the Florida College Democrats as public relations officer and Florida Young Democrats as deputy communications director. Sophia is passionate about voting rights, PR strategy and college basketball.

Ryan Trumbauer is a native of Lexington, South Carolina, but is currently a junior studying political science and metropolitan studies at New York University in the heart of the Big Apple. Ryan has held several positions within various Democratic organizations throughout the state. He has served NYC region chair and vice president of the College Democrats of New York, treasurer and vice president of the College Democrats at New York University, and as college and university liaison for the Manhattan Young Democrats. Ryan is also a member of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Youth Leadership Corp. In his free time, you can find Ryan catching up on way too many Netflix shows, reading literary classics, or just hanging out with friends.

Blaike Bibbs is a junior at North Carolina State University majoring in political science. She started her involvement at the age of 13 as the first vice president for The North Carolina Association of Teen Democrats and crossed the state helping to elect Democrats. Last year she had the pleasure of serving as CDA’s black caucus vice chair. In her state of NC, Blaike serves as the College Democrats of North Carolina’s director of development. Blaike is very passionate about issues pertaining to social justice, voter discrimination and families. She also enjoys fashion trends & incorporates that into her daily life.

John Bingham is a senior at Rutgers University dual majoring in economics and labor studies. Prior to being elected National Director of Political Affairs, John served as president of Ocean County Community College College Democrats and served two terms as president of College Democrats of New Jersey. Outside of College Democrats, John currently serves as honorary chair of Young Democrats of New Jersey, committee member of the Ocean County Democratic Committee and municipal chair of Pine Beach Democratic Party. John is passionate about economics, chess, and fantasy football.

University of Massachusetts Amherst
Emily Stetson is a Masters of Public Policy student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also completed her undergraduate studies there, earning a B.A. in Political Science while minoring in Chinese Language and Literature and completing an international relations certificate. Emily is the incumbent president of the College Democrats of Massachusetts, where she previously served as their communications director. Outside of the College Democrats, she was involved in Solomon Golstein-Rose’s campaign for state representative, where Goldstein-Rose was successfully elected and currently serves as the youngest member of the MA State legislature. Emily also interned two consecutive summers on Capitol Hill in the office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

Justin Atkins is a fourth year political science student at Florida Atlantic University and the current president of the Florida College Democrats. Upon completing his military service obligation in the United States Army, Justin returned to Palm Beach State College where he was the founding president of the institution’s College Democrats chapter. Previously, Justin served as the vice president of FAU College Democrats and membership director of Florida College Democrats. As a committeeman with the Palm Beach County Democratic Executive Committee and a board member for the Palm Beach County Youth Leadership Academy, Justin has focused his efforts on equality, voters’ rights, and the youth. Justin also has experience in the campaign field where he has worked on several grassroots campaigns, including field director for Florida State Senator and Senate Minority Leader Jeff Clemens and most recently as a campaign manager for Florida House of Representatives Candidate Ryan A. Rossi.

Kyteria Marshall is a junior at Jacksonville State University majoring in criminal justice and sociology with a concentration in corrections. Kyteria also serves as the state council secretary and black caucus co-chair for Alabama College Democrats. At her chapter at Jacksonville State University, she serves as public relations director.

Connor Berdy is a senior majoring in world politics at Michigan State University. He serves as the vice chair for the Macomb County Democratic Party and the legislative affairs director for the Michigan Federation of College Democrats. Connor has been involved in party politics since high school and is very passionate about income inequality and climate change. He also enjoys playing tennis and watching Game of Thrones.
